I'm not sure of the author, but the quote helps me to overcome inertias any time I want to write and don't seem to starting with a bang.

"Victory goes to the most persevering" - Napoleon Bonaparte. This is a quote I think of often, particularly when facing a setback. The only guaranteed way to fail is to give up!

A wonderfully simple quote that inspires me to keep walking on, even when I feel like throwing in the towel. :)

The most powerful element in advertising is the truth. - This one, definitely. I have experienced at least two businesses fall that wanted to compete with me with false advertising/marketing (without educating people). One has even destroyed the niche but also itself.

Schwartz really nailed it with his quote on "writing" copy. It's hard to explain to people how copywriting is different and the importance of that difference to their business.
