This sounds like some nihilistic/negative question, but it forces me to always reconsider my actions. For example, if I find myself procrastinating, I'd ask myself this as a way to reconnect with my goals. The answer varies when you ask people "why is x worth doing? What do you get out of it?" which really tells what their priorities are.

Life is too short, do what matters most and do it today.

Even a great product can't save a bad copy.
