Find Your Niche
To niche down or not to niche down?
It’s the freelancing question of the century.
Here’s my take:
The only time it makes sense not to niche down is if you are brand new with zero experience.
In this case, take any job you can get. Get comfortable managing client relationships and figure out what types of projects you enjoy most.
After that, find your niche ASAP.
You want to be a big fish in a small pond. If not, you’ll be constantly fighting for scraps.
