    what are you grateful for

We’re starting to wrap up 2019, and it’s time for some reflection…

What are 3 things you’re grateful for this year?

What are things you could have improved?

Leave your responses in the comments below!

P.S. Use a fake name if you don’t want to publicly reveal yourself (but please use a real answer—the more specific, the better).

P.P.S. An example response might look like:

In 2019, I’m grateful for falling in love with an awesome person, landing a flexible remote job, and finally being able to run again after 6 months of physical therapy.

I could have improved 2019 by setting monthly goals, watching less Netflix, and calling mom more often.

Starting your own business can sometimes feel like a slow process, but as long as you're moving in the right direction, that's the most important thing!

Life is always good! For trillions of miles in any direction outside of this little blue ball there's not much life, so we're pretty lucky!

Glad you discovered copywriting....I made a video about my journey to discover it while owning an eCommerce business:

1.) Nice! I've heard so many success stories from getting fired.

    2.) Vail is dope.

3.) Awesome. Remember that comparatively your life is amazing, and about 5 billion people would literally doing anything to be where you're at now:

    life is so hard

    1. I'm grateful for botching my interviews and assignments which motivates me to improve.

    2. I'm grateful for the freelance writing opportunities to better improve my skills.

    3. I'm grateful for my supportive friends who always have my back.

I could have improved on my time management skills and focus on my tasks instead of getting distracted to get better results for my endeavours.

1.) Both amazing places. Japan IS the future, and China WILL be the future.

2.) Awesome, but make sure to setup your processes and systems so you succeed based on those and not just rely on will power:

3.) Sounds like you're pumped, but MAKE SURE YOU SYSTEMETIZE THIS! When it comes to friends and fam I think small little events like "just come hang at my place on Tuesday after dinner" are far more effective than big events.

Welp it sounds like you're off to a good start Matt!

For me some things I'm grateful for:

⇨ Family stuff happened this year and our friends and family kicked into high gear with love and support all around. I feel lucky to have a gigantic and rock solid support network nurtured by my parents before me.

⇨ Oddly enough I'm happy I rent an apartment and didn't buy a where I live. I was able to pick up and move to an even better location.

⇨ New York for the summer was awesome.

⇨ Having been able to setup life the way I like it.

    Things I could've improved on:

🚫 I don't think I work hard as I can or should. My work life is often pretty cushy, and I think pushing maybe 25% harder would produce 200%+ larger results.

Hey Michael, sounds like you're killing it. The health and productivity can always be improved.

One productivity trick I have: If I work around other people who can see my computer screen, I work way harder every single time.

    Awesome Ruth!

....and I see weight loss might be a priority :)

This is not a promo or anything, but the only program I've seen like 99.5% success with is https://www.mybodytutor.com/ .....I've used it twice over the years, the first time was with great success, and the 2nd time I needed a "brush up" 6 years later to lose weight.

It's the only thing I've seen that doesn't rely on weird fad diets and severe restrictions.....so it's actually a maintainable thing. I maintain my weight pretty well since then, and still eat the stuff I enjoy.

The interest is the greatest productivity and learning tool ever devised. YouTube alone is a treasure trove of any skill on the planet.

    Get that knowledge 😎

I'm grateful for achieving 5,00,000INR(8500USD) monthly income, but not consistently earning throughout the year. But I'm happy, because it's little great money in India. All came from doing content marketing and saas SEO services to my clients. One of my client ranking on page 1 for "review generation software" keyword. So things went really well. My girl friend breakup with me, that's a bad news for me too. But I am recovering from that. Took courses from Dan Martell, Chris Von Gilbert, Video fruit, etc.  Learned a lot and its helping me a lot. Got few replies from your buddy Taco Noah Kagan. Started building my dream home without taking home loan from bank :)  Wish me success. I want to be like you in SAAS SEO & Content marketing, I know you and Noah sharing in a video, that you are blogging since 1990ssssssss :D Just sharing my goal. I am grateful for posting my first comment on your blog

I'm grateful for my mom's multiple brain surgeries and recovery, seeking out therapy when life got a little tough, and awesome friends/family who were there to support this entire time!

I could have improved 2019 by going to sleep on time! I think waking up refreshed could have given me more time to workout and schedule other areas I'd like to grow in.

    In 2019:

I am grateful to be alive due to illness.

I am grateful for all the things I have seen or done and what I will do in the future.

I am grateful for the life I have had and the future.

    In 2019:

I could have been more focused, and written out more daily objectives along with blocking out specific times to work on them.

    That's awesome Micah!

I would suggest for socializing more is to have a bunch of "micro parties." I used to throw co-working days at my place, I still invite 2-4 people over at a time allll the time etc....this fosters more connection than throwing the occasional giant party where you're playing host to tons of people and can't connect too well.

I would also suggest finding a "Third Place" you can hang out.

That's awesome Sash! Also everyone's first small business does "okayish" at first. It's about learning, implementing, iterating, and repeating that process.

    Best of luck killing it!

Heyoo Richard sounds like you've still got tons of life to live, and you should fill it with things that are worthwhile to you.

Writing is a big part of my life (it was even a big part far before I realized money could be made from it), and has been a real joy....hope you get even more joy out of it also!
