Look...it may not be the best product in the world, but this ad for a short hair wig is solid!
This ad does everything right:
• Shows the product before/after pics.
• Shows how to use the product.
• Lists some great benefits of the product.
• Has easy order instructions.
• Shows a bunch of cool 1970's dudes with sweet wigs 😎
Thought:
When the Gmail "Promotions" tabs came around many email marketers complained and hated them:
However I believe these Gmail tabs are GOOD for marketers.
I get 200+ emails on my personal account everyday, almost all promotions and updates 😳
I would've long unsubscribed to many of them if they didn't go to tabs!
Speaking of not going into the wrong inbox, I'd appreciate if you dragged this email into your Primary Inbox!
Uplifting:
The "shortening" of content over the last decade is real.
This is great news for us consumers, as it shortens the amount of time it takes to learn something!
Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts seem to foreshadow the "shortening" of videos in the coming years.
For example, here's a 7 minute video showing how to cook an egg:
...and here's a 49 second video show how to cook an egg:
While the longer video might be a bit more instructive and look better, the short video still shows you the "gist" of cooking an egg quickly.
49 seconds vs 420 seconds is a compression of information by over 8.5x!

With all the money printing in the world right now, inflation will definitely wipe out a percentage of your cash buying power.
Here's my current plan compressed into a Tweet.
My protect from inflation kit:
- Hold stocks: GOOG, AMZN, AAPL
- Hold some crypto: BTC, ETH
- Own hard assets: House/Rental
- Own piece of businesses
- Hold S&P 500 fund: VOO (auto-buy monthly)
- Hold China S&P 500 fund: MCHI (auto-buy monthly)
- Don’t sell for 10+ years

We do weekly call where we share screens for 2 hours and do work.
I get more done in those 2 hrs than all week!
There's something about others seeing your work that makes you work harder.
When I co-work in person I make other person sit on same side of table so I work harder 😀
