EXAMPLE 1: Copywriting Course digital product sequence

One of my favorite autoresponders is one that I made for the Copywriting Course.  The first couple of emails simply give away good info.  The next emails start mentioning the Copywriting Course.  Over the next few weeks people get cool info they can use, AND get exposed to the Copywriting Course so they can buy when ready.  Selling through an autoresponder like this ensures a steady stream of sales per month rather than single-send-out emails:
EMAIL NUMBER + SUBJECT LINE TIME DELAY: STRATEGY:
Email 1: This email will make you write better Send immediately Good info
Email 2: Here’s how ya write SUBJECT LINES Send 2 days later Good info
Email 3: Why people ignore what you say Send 2 days later Good info + mention product
Email 4: use this subject line Send 2 days later Good info + mention product
Email 5: A thing about Copywriting, and a thing…. Send 2 days later Good info + mention product
Email 6: why shitty stuff sometimes works better Send 2 days later Good info + mention product

Example 2: HustleCon Conference selling sequence

Here’s an autoresponder created for a conference called HustleCon that sold out (after the end of this autoresponder sequence)! An autoresponder drip system was perfect for this conference because it has so many different benefits and features.  This means everyday Sam from HustleCon could send one email highlighting one benefit or speaker:
EMAIL NUMBER + SUBJECT LINE TIME DELAY: STRATEGY:
Email 1: It’s on… 1 day, 10am Talk about “Hustling”
Email 2: Sales Hacking: Bootstraper’s Guide 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 3: The brown Don Draper… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 4: How to go viral… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 5: From revenue on day 4 to $3.5 million a year… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 6: A brand lovegasm… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 7: Don’t be an idiot in the kitchen… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 8: How we convinced this year’s speakers… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
Email 9: something different… 1 day, 10am How they threw this conference
Email 10: mail order maverick… 1 day, 10am Feature speaker + what can learn
