What Do You Want To Do Next Year In 2024?

Just curious: What do you plan on building next year?

We're approaching 2024 in about a month....and I'm curious what everyone wants to build.

Do you want to build...
An eCommerce store, a blog, a book, a social media presence, a website, a digital product, a retail store, an email campaign, a product to sell, a side income.....

Reply to this email and let me know!
I will read every single answer!
Sincerely,
Neville Medhora

P.S. An easy way to think about this:
Imagine fast-forwarding one year from today...it's almost the end of 2024. What do you want to have in your business or life?

Love your content - always use it for marketing inspiration and your copywriting course was game-changing.

If it's the end of 2024 here's what I've built:

  • 3-5 mini courses teaching innovators how to build their own startup studio
  • A live cohort based course - run 3x per year - teaching innovators the same thing
  • A self-paced signature course (based on what worked in the live cohort based course) - teaching the same thing
  • 4-8 workshops for various stakeholders in the venture space on how to launch, invest in, or join a studio
  • An e-book/ playbook/ guide on (.... you guessed it) how to build your own venture studio

Not sure why you wanted to know what everyone is working to build next year but I knew this would be a great focusing exercise for me so I wanted to do it and share. Probably not interested but if you ever want to connect on anything Startup Studio/ Venture Studio .

GREAT response Dianna! At least knowing what you want by next year can help you plan the steps to get there!

TOP priority is to continue building our email & SMS agency for Shopify stores. This business pays the bills and has a potential to grow.

We'd like to create an info-product to compliment our service and add more profits.

Lastly, we can't wait to launch a Shopify store.

Great goals Matthew! Sounds like you're going hard on the huge Shopify ecosystem!

 Thanks for asking.

I look forward to build deeper relationships with family and friends, and to build a website (or many, hopefully) -  and a side gig business which involves writing too.

That question helps, intuitively.

Great goals Kimberly!

Hopefully you work backwards to see how you can achieve all these goals!

Thanks for this email. This was a good reminder to spend time focussing on setting up the goals and just a gentle nudge goes a long way.
I am working on building a collection of online quizzes, trivias, and "Did you know" kind of material to educate the kids. Starting with instagram using a virtual AI generated avatar to deliver the content.I started uploading last week, plan to add content 3 times every week.

For the first time in a long time, I'm actually building something (I'm notorious for starting and stopping projects)

I'm building a blog: https://nationalparknewbies.com/

My big goal: Become the most trusted place on the internet for beginners to learn about and plan National Park trips.

Even though blogging feels 20 years too late, I'm banking on real people seeking real stories about the national parks.

Where do you want to go? I'll outline your trip!

That sounds awesome Gustavo!

Even if a project doesn't work out, it ALWAYS teaches you something new....plus maybe you'll get some free park visits 😬

That's amazing James!

I wish I had written more books over the years, it's immensely satisfying (and always way harder than it seems at first).

I'm currently helping my Dad get an online shop and his book writing stuff rolling. I helped him with his blog and am currently helping him build out a store.

His book is Grady Medic. It's his and other paramedics wild stories on what they encountered helping people on the worst days of their lives.

If you've ever been curious about what's going on inside an ambulance, you should check it out. It's on Kindle, with the paperback currently only out on bookbaby.

Your book on writing better has helped me immensely, thank you!

SOME AFFILIATE MARKETING AND SOME LEGAL

My goal is to finish my book by the end of May 2024 and submit it to different agents. I’m writing the rough draft and am about halfway done. I’m excited about the prospect.

Amazing goal Elisabeth, making books is always so much harder than it initially seems right 😂

Noice.

Somewhat counter intuitively as a business we are exploring brick and mortar.

Either a warehouse or a physical location for 2 potential business ideas.

I think something that doesn't get spoken about much is downside risk in business.

FOR EXAMPLE.

You own an uber Youtubre channel.

You sell digital products.

Cha-ching.

UNTIL.

Youtube bans your channel for .... whatever reason.

Even owning an email list is great.

But unless they buy you as a person, then the list is only good for the product or category.

Plus just improving ours and our clients business as well 🙂

Here's to 2024!
