    Edit Any Website (free tool)

This is how you can edit any website directly from your browser:

Step 1.) Highlight the text in the blue box:

    javascript:document.body.contentEditable = 'true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0

Step 2.) Drag the highlighted text into your bookmarks bar.

Step 3.) Click the icon whenever you want to edit any page!

    Try it for yourself:
Click this link, and instantly you'll be able to edit the text on this page from your browser. Reload the page if you want to quit editing.

Google Chrome: Right click on the bookmark and select edit. There is a place for the name and one for the URL. Sometimes the script will be in the bookmark name instead of the URL. Copy and paste it into the URL field. A name is not required but you can give it any name you want.

Hello! Obviously, it doesn't permanently edit the page, correct? It's just so we can screenshot and show the client. Thanks!

I see you already answered my question on this page LOL just one more--I tried to drag something somewhere else on the page and it didn't go. Can you drag things using this trick? Thanks!

It depends on the website. Keep in mind this isn't a full web editor, it's just a little trick that works on almost every website, but when it comes to formatting and dragging, it might perform differently on different websites!

That's right, it DOES NOT permanently edit your page. Just reload the browser and everything will be back to normal :)

Is there a way to save your changes? Or is this to play around with editing.

It's simply to play around and demonstrate copy. You can always take a screenshot!

But surely wasn't it only YOU who could see these changes?

How would you use it whilst on a call with a client, such as skype etc, because again, it would only be visible in my browser not on the clients browser, while we discuss website changes etc?

    thanks
