I'm just curious...what kind of car do you drive?

Leave your response in the comments below!

    Sincerely,

P.S. Use a funny fake name if you don't want to publicly reveal yourself (but please use a real answer).

    P.P.S. Example responses would include:

    - "I drive a 2007 Toyota Camry"

    - "I don't even own a car. I take the train everywhere."

    - "I only Uber and Lyft places."

    - "I have a Ford Explorer, but I bike 90% of the time."

I live out in the country, so easy everyday public transportation is problematic. I drive a 2009 Toyota Highlander hybrid with lots of miles and stickers on the back hatch window - it's a "keep Portland weird" thing. I want an electric Tesla SUV, but would also love a rainproof electric bike or scooter to use on Max and Sounder transit systems when I'm in the (relatively speaking) big cities.

I drive a '98 Ford Expedition 5.4 V8 that is averaging 10.9 mpg but my wife and daughters drive Priuses to balance it out. ☯

I literally don't know how to drive and I do not have a driver's license. But if I did I would have either a UK Land Rover Defender or a AMG Hummer. I had to choose between paying for my senior year of high school or paying for Driver's Ed...and since I lived in a city at the time with decent public transport, I chose school.

Until my kids started bitching about leg room in the back seat when they reached first and second grade, I drove a chili red Mini Cooper convertible named Boadicea. I ordered sight unseen when the spy photos of the new convertible hit the internet (before they were born). Yes, you *can* get two baby seats in the back of a Mini and - if you choose wisely - you *can* get a tandem stroller into the front seat (turn it upside down).

Sigh. Now I drive a ginormous mom mobile Prius. Not so cool, but killer gas mileage.

2018 Toyota CH-R; though it kinda drives itself, I just sit there for legal reasons.

I'm still driving my first car! It's a 2000 Honda Civic and I love it more than I should. I live in a town with great bike trails, so I mostly bike to commute, but having a car comes in handy for hikes with my puppy.

When I (inevitably) get a new car, it's still going to be a Honda. Why? Because repairs are few and far in between, maintenance is a breeze, and I've got some great, honest mechanics who specialize in Hondas!

Currently, I’m driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD 2.8 Liter turbo diesel. I call her “Lil’ Chug.” Someday, I’d like to upgrade to a current year Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie extended crew cab with the Cummins.
