What are you building next year?

Just curious: What do you plan on building next year?

We're approaching 2023 in about 1 month....and I'm curious what everyone wants to build.

    Do you want to build...
An eCommerce store, a blog, a book, a social media presence, a website, a digital product, a retail store, an email campaign, a product to sell, a side income.....

Love your emails, and kopy materials in general, so first off I wanted to say thank you for teaching me a lot, virtually. Thanks for the Boron letters recommendation and the target self-expiration date exercise 😅
Also a big fan of Noah as well, y'all are great folks!

As for what to build in 2023, if I had to niche it down enough - (yet another) e-commerce marketplace, because I know a lot about the industry, having worked in it for so long.

But as wishes go, I've got a lot more things on my mind that would be nice to build, but realistically I'm not making time for:
    - anonymous twitter/tumbler/micro-blogging platform for hackers, activists, dissidents, etc. Maybe only on TOR. Or not..
    - a business around turn-key smart home solutions, with privacy built-in. None of that BS you see from amazon ring or whatever crap. You own your own data and only you have access to it
    - maybe even become a full on housing developer, put out modern, sleek, efficient and beautiful smart homes like the folks from honomobo.com or others like that. Is 3D printing homes a thing yet? I know there's a few folks working on it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    - online gaming/gambling site? Internally conflicted about the lack of ethics around it though. They make mint on exploiting people's gambling problems... It's probably like running a porn site. Might be profitable 🤑, but not a reason to be proud of your business in that case. Meh, self limiting thoughts I guess 🙄
    - small ISP for rural communities
    - something to democratize crypto currencies. Idea is great, execution was shit so far with most of them. Complexity for the average Joe is crazy. Hell, more than half the tech bros don't understand it at all. Need something simpler, more effective and efficient. We as a tech industry need to do better than that with regards to trust as well. Can't have these asshole exchange CEOs keep pumping and dumping or simply exit scamming folks. True decentralization with no one entity owning corruptible amounts of it. I don't know, just riffing on what I see as problems I guess
    - ... and other things like that

Why are you asking? Fishing for ideas to build yourself? Or just to see what folks are up to, to get inspired to find better ideas?

Hey Victor, I was just asking everyone to see what people are working on, partially out of curiosity, partially to share with the world!

Enjoyed every email you have sent so far!

    So many ideas for 2023.

    But here's the big rocks:
    - Continue to grow with AppSumo while exploring the content/marketing job market (haven't looked into that for a long time)
    - Grow an ecommerce store (started it with my wife back in 2021)
    - Continue making podcast episodes with small tweaks to grow newsletter subscribers and make a side income

Personal life wise, #1 is to have a first child, and #2 is to stay consistent with fitness.

Thanks for asking, and thanks for sharing such great content!

I'm currently a freelance ghostwriter and I want to transition to writing my books more often. Also the industry suffers from a race to the bottom in regards to pricing.

So I'm not waiting until next year to change, I've started now. I've begun posting writing thoughts on Medium (cause we all need another writing blog), and also learning the ins and outs of email marketing. Essentially the goal is to get paid better for writing less.

Thanks for the inspro! What are your plans?

What I want to build is a list using SMM at first to drive my audience.

I bought SendFox and a domain name and basic site so there's no excuse not to do it.

I am in the process of the Make1k Course by Noah.

    What a guy! Also you!

I listened to Chris Do's podcast with you and it's eye opening!
