What are you building next year?

Just curious: What do you plan on building next year?

We're approaching 2023 in about 1 month....and I'm curious what everyone wants to build.

    Do you want to build...
An eCommerce store, a blog, a book, a social media presence, a website, a digital product, a retail store, an email campaign, a product to sell, a side income.....

I am working to build a social media presence, working in the niche of copywriting and content writing.

Already doing the same on LinkedIn and Twitter.

I really love your newsletters and the content you publish at Kopywriting Kourse.

You have been an amazing mentor to me, while learning copywriting.

    I'm building two things:

    1. My personal brand on LinkedIn.
+ I'm writing one thoughtful post every weekday
    + Engaging with comments
+ Engaging with other people's posts

I started taking it seriously a few months ago.

    Can you tell? 😂

The long term goal is to help people get better at writing with my way of teaching copywriting. Which brings me to number 2...

    2. Build on my existing copywriting guide
+ I've got 13k heavily edited words already written. But I have so much more to say.
+ I'm working on it at weekends.

My plan is to keep chipping away knowing that I'll completely overestimate what I can get done in a day and underestimate what I can get done in a year.

What about you Neville? What are you building?

That's awesome John, looks like you getting tons of traction!

I'm personally trying to further build out all my copywriting assets for more people, and adding some focus to SwipeFile.com and my newsletter.

Will release more info shortly 🙂

Fast forwarding one year from now I want to be smoking Cuban cigars on a beach in Thailand... LOL

Well, plan B is to consolidate a serious email list over my soon-to-be-born data engineering site. That's it. I'm using Ryan's approach of "asking" before building a product, so, as simple as it seems, that's it. A huge and engaged email list.

Hi Neville. My name is Oluchi and I'm from Nigeria. I am an economics student in one of the federal universities in my country.

Next year(I might start in December though), I intend on building a blog, a blog where I'd share all my thoughts on my faith,  life experiences, business/Finanace/startups and marketing.

My main purpose of building this is to create an online portfolio, keep myself accountable in my writing practice, and well, help people through my writing.

I plan on naming the blog " Lulu's Thoughts"
Lulu- a short form of my name
Thoughts - well🌚, everything that goes on in my mind.

But, I have a conflict of purpose here. Since I'm going to write articles based on my thoughts (and not necessarily what readers are searching for), I don't have a niche that I would be known for, except the ones I mentioned above. These niches are too much, right🥺?

I don't want something I would lose interest in. I want to make it as personal as possible while building on the niches I have chosen. But, I don't know how to execute that.

If you have any ideas, advice or suggestions, I would be very happy to hear them.

I'm working on how to change my real estate review and Q&A service - Zagnetic - so it becomes as ubiquitous as Yelp (but for houses, condos, investment property, etc.).

I'm also launching a tiny notebook-sized (ultra fast & portable) version of Uber Week next month! LMK if you want some free copies to try!

Thanks, I really appreciate all you've taught me over the years!

    Happy Thanksgiving!
